OTHER THAN THAT, MRS. LINCOLN...

TinyTuna has decided to re-enter the world of community theatre. This time, things are a little different. She is auditioning for a play with a children's theatre -- kid's plays played by kids. The summer show is The Pied Piper of Hamelin and they plan to cast upwards of sixty kids.

That's a lot of rats.

Friday night was round one, and TinyTuna has been requested to return this afternoon for call backs. As always, we're taking a wait-and-see posture. We are fully aware that we will be gone the first two weeks of rehearsal and that could be a deal-breaker. We're prepared if that comes to be. But she wanted to audition, and I say more power to you. Every audition makes you that much stronger, whether you are cast or not. With the right attitude, they are learning experiences and opportunities to meet actors and directors.

No matter what the outcome, TinyTuna had a blast being "on the boards."

After her call backs, we will be celebrating her birthday, a few days early. She doesn't know this, but we're going to kidnap her and take her to Johnny Rocket's for dinner with everybody, so she can eat fries and dance to The Loveshack. It should be fun. GramTuna and I took her clothes shopping today for a majority of her birthday present. She is going to be one styling kid, let me tell you! I've also gotten her a few surprises, and told her that at her party today she could choose one of three presents: "C", "D" or "G".

She has chosen "G".....mwahhahahaha

No, she'll love it. Really.
