It's the first day of November.
Half of my Facebook page is screaming for joy declaring it's Christmas.
It is not.
Half of my Facebook page is still posting trick-or-treat pictures from Halloween.
It is not.
What it is is the first day of November, which means NaNoWriMo for aspiring authors.
I am not.
So I spent all of about five minutes trying to find out if the November-blog-writing-thing was still a thing.
I still don't know, and I am too lazy to look any further.
Therefore and hence, I'm going to pretend like it is, and make up the rules as I go along. I'm also not posting any of this to Facebook, so when I inevitably stop posting in about three or four days, I'll feel less guilty about disappointing the handful of readers that mistakenly stumble by.
Welcome November.
This is me, mostly just talking to myself
without benefit of rules and prompts.
But seeing as it's the season of Thanksgiving
and I could do with some happiness in this fractured world,
I'm going to go with every cliche I can think of.
Good News
Gratitude
Grace
I need a reason to show up, so let's see if this works.
Wish me luck, I'm going in.
