Dreams and Nightmares

I dreamed last night that I woke up this morning in Hatteras, North Carolina. Panicked, I threw on my clothes because I knew I had to drive back to vote in Michigan. As I was running out the door, I saw one of my former college voice students. I yelled, "We have to go! We have to vote!!" She said she had a ride, so off I went.

I made it home in time, and I voted.
And then I woke up, threw on my clothes, and I voted for real.

Even if you have to drive in your dreams all day, make sure you vote.
And make sure your friends and neighbors vote.
If they need help, give them a ride.
Every vote makes a difference.
Every voice deserves to be heard.

Go vote. Do it now.

Wow. You have some very vivid dreams. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that - whatever the outcome - there will be a clear winner and not a long, drawn out court battle.

I'm with TVJ. Even if it means my side loses, let it be done quickly. I have a feeling that 2000 set a precedent though, and every Joe Schmo that feels like he/she got slighted at the polls is going to get a lawyer.

I voted! I don't care WHO you vote for, just VOTE!
