Just in case you were wondering, it appears that my life no longer sucks, as my banner ads have returned to something alligator-related (because I talked about that "Crikey!" guy feeding a croc with his infant in his arms) and an oldie but goodie "Joe Bender Toy". I don't know what it is, but as long as it isn't a "Joe Bender says Your Life Sucks Toy" I'm not going to complain.

Holy first day back of teaching with a full roster of students, Batman. It started out strong, and I didn't get my first sickie until 4pm. That's not right. I'm going to have to make sure they know that I need my first sick student no later than 2pm, thank you very much. And now, inexplicably, I have an hour break. My 5pm student didn't show, and my 5:30pm student can't come at 5:30. I know, I know. I just don't ask anymore.

The Emergency Email system is at it again. I'm now warned of the ALBERTA CLIPPER which is about to unleash its SWEEPING WINDS from...Alberta. Although I don't have the doom and gloom in front of me, I believe the upshot of the situation, in a caps-lock kind of way, is that tomorrow it's supposed to snow. Thank God they warned me. I almost forgot it was winter in the Mitten.
