Acc-cen-tu-ate The Positive

It's nice
to see TeenTuna happily back in school. And when I say "happily" I mean over-the-moon BYE MOM ecstatic to see her friends and return to a life where her biggest concern is if her hair is "flipping the right way" or not. Diversionary things like teachers and homework is a welcome and even pleasant change of pace compared to the last month. Yay, 8th grade.

It's nice
to sleep and not visit single digit hours like 2, 3, 4 and 5. Last night I made it to 6 for the first time in a long time. I'm still pretty sleep-deprived, but every day that I can grab a little more is a step in the right direction. Yay, me.

It's nice
to see the sunshine. Sure, it's too hot, and sure I can't stay out in the sun that long. But it's warm and soothing and healing, and I'm certain I'll miss it terribly in the upcoming months. Yay, sun.

It's nice
to know that even though all you really need is a broken down truck and a dead dawg to make your life a perfect hat-trick in a country-western song, you have friends and family to keep you going for another day. Yay, Tuna peeps!

It's nice
to see your community embrace the arts, giving you something positive to write about in your other blog giving you an shameless excuse to plug the BIG blog that happens to like your writing and puts it on the front page. Yay, uh...shameless promotions of ME!

It's nice
to see that school down the road get their helmets handed to them on Saturday. Someone forgot that the first few weeks were supposed to be the EASY teams. Yay, UoM Slayers!

It's nice
to see that it's beer-thirty. Time to fly. Yay Eastern Daylight Time.

Welcome to the Big Blog, I think we're lucky to have you! (And thanks for coming to my Labor Day festivities, you should come around more often!) :-D
