Coda

Considering all the blathering I do here, you may find it surprising that I actually believe that more often than not, words are a cumbersome lot.  More can be said by the turn of a beautiful musical phrase than can be said by endless strings of paragraphs.  A landscape that might take pages and pages to describe can be breathtaking when put to canvas in deep rich oils or gently shimmering watercolors.  Comfort and care and love need not rely on a greeting card when a bowl of soup and a warm piece of bread will more than suffice.

So tonight, when I opt for music over words, pictures over paragraphs, and a bowl of soup to comfort me and keep me warm, I am content.  It says everything I could possibly say, and more.
