SNIPPETS
Many little thoughts, none particularly profound today -- all of which I'll talk more about later....

1. My computer is sick. This is a caps lock NOT GOOD event. First I thought it was just my email. Now it seems to be all my office applications. I'm having a minor panic attack here. My only saving grace? Dial-up (Woot 56k!!) and Internet seems to be fine. I'll be spending some time tomorrow finding my official MicroCrap discs and try to reinstall. If that doesn't work, I haven't decided yet what step number two might be.

2. Halloween went well. TinyTuna and her cousins behaved better than they ever had. The weather was just fine -- no coats necessary, which is a special treat in mitten country. Later that evening GreenTuna went out for some adult company, and amazingly enough, managed to scrounge up a costume. A ratty Santa hat. So I went as "Cranky Kringle". TinyTuna decided I needed some presents, so I went into the basement and found plastic Easter eggs, a half package of batteries, a bike reflector, a half used package of tissues, some scotch tape, half a granola ball, a burnt over mitt and a tin foil ball. Ho freaking Ho.

3. The Tunas lost today, but the game was at least a game and not a blowout, as it has been in years past. I haven't heard the police sirens screaming, so I'm hoping this mild drizzle we have is making the sofas hard to ignite. What I saw of the game looked pretty good, and that's what is most important, right? *snicker*snicker* Yeah, right.

4. Today is All Saints Days. Tomorrow will be big church with The Big Hat. I have to sing, because Big Hat is going to be there. Church should last about, oh, 20 hours. And then I have a funeral to go to in the afternoon. And did I mention my computer is sick? Big Hats and Funerals and Hard Drives, oh my. At least South Park is going to be on in ten minutes, and I have a new six pack of Mikes.
