THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY
The Good: My class voice Scottish Tunas had to sing a Jazz standard in class today. All the kids did well, but one in particular did an outstanding job, and I distinctly remember him complaining loud and long about how he can't sing. Yeah, right. Guess he proved himself wrong. Yay team! Also in the good category: I guilted one of my regular voice students into singing for studio class next week. I had to throw a wee bit of a Diva fit (I save them for special occasions), but fifteen minutes later she caved and she's singing. It's good to have power.
The Bad: In the practice room next to my office, someone is having a saxophone lesson, and I'm being serenaded with an Alto Saxophone duet of "Lightly Row".
Dear Lord,
I must admit that "Lightly Row"
in an improvement over my pal
Percussion Boy and his incessant
WHOMPing on the drums. But
next time, could I request a flute
or something a bit quieter? After
Halloween, I know you're up to
the challenge. Thanks loads.

The Ugly: No word from my systems guru since 9am this morning. I sent her a quick crapiMac email telling her I wasn't in the office today. She wrote back and said she got MS Office to work, but XP was having all sorts of problems. She wondered what I did when I installed it. *sigh* What I did?? What I did was I put in the 100% officially purchased legal disc and clicked Install Now. How could that screw anything up? I dunno. Looks like it will be another computerless evening. Withdrawl is hard, man.
