Well, so far I've managed to make a few changes and really irritate a lot of people. I've got the color going, I've got the fishies back in place, I've widened the main column, and fixed some of the link / subheader colors so they are legible. I'm going to re-edit a few of my older posts to incorporate the "Title" thingee, so just a title will appear at the right, and not the title plus five or six extra words.

The comments section is a double-edged sword. Some people like comments attached to each individual post. I don't have an opinion one way or another, but I suppose I may be inclined to "comment back" in this format rather that the old "guestbook" deal. I can't find any quick work-around to the "anonymous" problem within the comment section. Perhaps I'll send an email to the King of Blogger and see what he has to say for himself.

Meanwhile, hold tight -- more changes still to come. If you have any other thoughts or ideas, please be sure to pass them along.

Coming along, I must say! I'm getting used to the anonymous thing, but it's still cheesy. (One of the things I hated about AOL) A lot of people use 800x600 resolution on their monitors, which makes all images bigger - so that's probably where the side-to-side scrolling comes in. I went through the blogger templates, and I didn't immediately see any way to make the text column/field flud as opposed to fixed.

But .. it's looking good!

I think the changes look great! You have your own unique look now to go with your unique style.

Hey Green Tuna,

I love the new template, but I've become dependant upon your links to find all the blogs I love to read. Is there someplace that has your links still?

-RiveterGirl (thought I'd throw in my moniker as to beat the whole Anonymous problem since I'm on Diaryland)

Looking good, GT. I am too scared to try anything on mine... but I'll admire yours!
