O IS FOR TOES

It's Food Friday! ChefGrace, in a moment of severe indecision left the "O" designation to we the Peeps (see yellow guys, above), and you know how dangerous that can be. So, in the spirit of gastronomic delights, I bring you my contribution:

O is for Toes

"Toes" in my house is short-speak for the culinary canned classic, The O-iest O-food I know, Spaghetti-Os. Who can resist the neat round spaghetti you can eat with a spoon? The website is a flash-filled wonder to behold with amazing facts (shelf life of 18 months -- stock up now!), a spaghetti-o arcade game, a snappy screen saver, and much MUCH MORE! (CAPS LOCK LEANED OVER)

So finally, for once, I bring you an actual recipe. A recipe I stole straight off the web. An O-recipe that will inspire you to run to the grocery store and...well, buy something else to eat, because honestly this recipe looks vile. Nonetheless, I proudly present:

HOBO SUPPER (with apologies to Hobos everywhere)

2 cans SpaghettiOs, plain

1 (16 oz.) can pork and beans

6 beef hot dogs

1/2 c. catsup

1 Tbsp. mustard

In large skillet, pour SpaghettiOs and drained can of

pork and beans. Stir in catsup and mustard. Slice hot dogs

into small slices and mix in with the SpaghettiOs and pork and

beans. Cook until it boils; then simmer for about 10 minutes.
